Howard's is a 3rd generation family run business that was established in 1952 by founder Howard Small as a Horse Supply and Western Wear store. Howard's daughter Jane and her husband Joe Plante opened the Spofford, NH store in 1966 where it is still going strong under the guidance of Howard's granddaughter Carla and her husband Mike Mansfield.
